Replacing Drawing Component

You can search a drawing component containing a certain text in the drawing component name from drawing components on the drawing, and replace it with another drawing component.

Replacing Drawing Component

  1. Point [Search and Replace] on [Edit] menu, and click [Replace Component].
    Search and Replace Window will be displayed.
  2. Input a string to be searched in [Search drawing component] box, or select a drawing component from the list.
  3. Select a drawing component to be replaced from the list of [Replaced drawing component] box.

To replace one by one

  1. Click [Search prev] or [Search next].
    A drawing component containing the search string in the drawing component name will be selected, and the message will be displayed on the status bar.
  2. Click [Replace].
    The previously searched drawing component will be replaced with the drawing component selected in [Replaced drawing component] box.
    If more searched results exist, the next searched drawing component will be selected, and the message on searched result will be displayed on the status bar.

To replace all at once

  1. Click [Replace all].
    All drawing components searched will be replaced with the one selected in [Replaced drawing component].
Supplemental
▪ Click [Replace] to replace the previously searched drawing component. When clicking [Replace] without searching, the same operation as [Search next] will be executed.
▪ Hidden drawing components will not be replaced.
▪ Drawing components on layers and part drawings of "Show Only" will not be replaced.
