Creating Arc
The following 3 methods can be used to create an arc.
- Specifying the "center point," "through point" or "radius," "start point" and "end point" or "arc length," of an arc.
- Specifying the "center point," "through point" or "radius," "start angle" and "end angle" or "arc length," of an arc.
- Specifying the "center point," "through point" or "radius," "start shape" and "end shape" or "arc length," of an arc.
To display a command parameter to be executed, click / of command parameters, or press Tab key or ← / → key on the keyboard.
- Point [Arc] on [Shape] menu, and click [Arc].
Then you will be able to create an arc. - Click the center point of an arc on the drawing.
- Specify the radius of an arc.
When specifying the through point
Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Through Point] box, and click the through point of an arc.
A line connecting the center and through points will be a radius of an arc.
When specifying a radius length
Input the length of the radius of the arc in [Radius] box on Command Window.

When specifying the "start point," "angle" and "end point" of an arc.
- Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Start Point] box, and click the start point of an arc on the drawing.
- Switch the parameter on Command Window to [End Point] box, and click the end point of an arc on the drawing.
An arc connecting the start and end points will be created.
When specifying the start and end angles of an arc
- Input the start angle for an arc in [Start Angle] box on Command Window.
- Input the end angle for an arc in [End Angle] box on Command Window.
An arc connecting the start and end angles will be created.
When selecting the intersection with other shape as the start and end points of an arc
- Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Start Shape], and click a shape to be used as the start point.
- Switch the parameter on Command Window to [End Shape] box, and click a shape to be used as the end point.
An arc connecting to the intersection with the selected shape will be created.

· | Arcs can also be created by switching the final parameter to [Arc length] box and entering the length of the arc. |
· | You can specify the center, through, start and end points by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Center Point], [Through Point], [Start Point] and [End Point] boxes on Command Window. |
