Using Add-in

To use an add-in, register and load it with the following procedures.

Installing published add-in

  1. Click [Add-in Manager] on [Add-ins] menu.
    [Add-in/Script Manager] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Select [Add-in] - [All] or each category in the menu on the left.
    The published add-in is displayed.
  3. Click [Install] of the add-in
    The add-in is installed.
  4. Click [Close].
    The add-in will be imported and become executable.

Disabling add-in

  1. Click [Add-in Manager] on [Add-ins] menu.
    [Add-in/Script Manager] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Select [Add-in] - [Installed] in the menu on the left
    The installed add-ins are displayed.
  3. Select an add-in to be disable in the add-in list, and click [Disable].
  4. Click [Close].
  5. Restart RootPro CAD.
    Import of the add-in will be canceled, disabling the add-in.

Activate disabled add-in

  1. Click [Add-in Manager] on [Add-ins] menu.
    [Add-in/Script Manager] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Select [Add-in] - [Installed] in the menu on the left
    The installed add-ins are displayed.
  3. Select an add-in to be enable in the list of add-ins, and click [Enable].
  4. Click [Close].
    The add-in will be imported and become executable.

Delete installed add-in

  1. Click [Add-in Manager] on [Add-ins] menu.
    [Add-in/Script Manager] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Select [Add-in] - [Installed] in the menu on the left
    The installed add-ins are displayed.
  3. Select an add-in to be deleted in the list of add-ins, and click [Uninstall].
  4. Click [Close].
  5. Restart RootPro CAD.
Supplemental
▪ Add-ins are only used in RootPro CAD Professional. RootPro CAD Free cannot use these functions.
▪ If a problem occurs when starting up RootPro CAD, the problem may be caused by the add-in. In such a case, click [RootPro CAD 12 Professional] - [RootPro CAD Tools] on Start Menu, select [Start up in Safe Mode] short-cut key and start up RootPro CAD. By doing this, RootPro CAD will start up without importing add-ins. Then, disable the add-in causing the problem on [Add-in/Script Manager] dialog box.
