[Text] Page on [Default Shape Settings] Dialog Box
On [Text] page on [Default Shape Settings] dialog box, you can modify the following settings.
The modified settings will be displayed on the preview screen located at the bottom left of the dialog box.
Font
[Font Style]
Set the font style.
[Bold]
When turned on, the text will be made bold.
[Gradient]
Input an angle for text gradient.
Color
[Text Color]
Set the color of the text.
[Specify the background color]
Displays the background color of the text when it is turned on.
[Background Color]
Set the background color of the text.
[Transparency]
Input a transparency value for the color set in [Background Color] boxes from 0 to 100. The larger the value is, the higher the transparency is.

▪ | If you do not want to display the background color of the text, the text color is reversed in black and white when the background color of the paper or part drawing and the text color are the same color (white or black). When displaying the background color of texts, even if the background color of the paper or part drawing and the text color are the same color (white or black), the text color and the background color of the text are not reversed in black and white. If you want to display the texts in white, specify the background color of the texts. |
Format
[Direction]
Set whether texts are flown horizontally or vertically.
[Character Height]
Input a text height.
[Locate Base Point]
Set a point in characters to be used as a locate base point.
Space
[Character Width Ratio]
Input in percentage the scale against the current character width to scale strings horizontally.
[Character Pitch]
Input a character interval.
[Line Space]
Input a line interval when a string has multiple lines.
Decoration
[Hollow]
Turn it on to make texts hollowed.
[Vertical Flip]
Turn it on to flip texts vertically.
[Horizontal Flip]
Turn it on to flip texts horizontally.
[Underline]
Turn it on to add an underline to texts.
[Overline]
Turn it on to add an overline to texts.
[Strikeout]
Turn it on to add a strikeout line to texts.
Appearance
[Word Wrap]
Turn it on to automatically adjust the line break position so that the line break does not occur in the middle of an English word.
Style
[Text Style]
Click and select a registered style to reflect the settings for the style.
[Register...]
Click it to register the set details as a style.
[Settings]
Click it to display [Style Settings] dialog box where you can edit the style.
Import/Export
[Load default text settings from template]
Default text settings for the template are loaded to the current settings.
[Load default text settings from other drawings]
Default text settings on other drawings currently opened are loaded to the current settings.
[Save default text settings to template]
Current default text settings are saved as default text settings for the template.
