On [Select Shape] page on [Options] dialog box, you can modify the following settings.

How to Select Shape

Set the method of selecting a shape on the drawing.

[Select shape in rectangle range]
Selects all shapes in a rectangle formed by specifying 2 points.

[Select shape in polygon range]
Selects all shapes in a polygon area formed by specifying point arrays.

[Select shape that intersects line]
Selects all shapes in a shape intersecting a line formed by specifying 2 points.

[Select shape that intersects polyline]
Selects all shapes in a shape intersecting a polyline formed by specifying point arrays.

Recognition

[Select Shape Completely Contained in Selection]
Selects only shapes entirely included in the selected area.

[Select Shape Partially Contained in Selection]
Selects shapes partially included in the selected area.

[Rectangular selection from left to right is a complete selection, from right to left is a partial selection]
Turn it on to switch the complete/partial selection depending on the specifying method of 2 points when specifying a rectangle to select shapes.
When specifying 2 points from left to right, only shapes completely contained in the selected area will be selected. When specifying 2 points from right to left, shapes partially contained in the selected area will also be selected.

[Select shape inside/outside in selection]
Set whether to select shapes inside or outside of the selected area.

[Select Layer with [Show Only] or Shapes on Part Drawing.]
Turn it on to enable selecting shapes on the layer or part drawing with the status of "Show Only."

[Select shapes in the group together]
Turn it on to select all grouped shapes when clicking a grouped shape.
When it is turned off, clicking a grouped shape will select individual shapes in the group.

[Shift+click shape to select multiple shapes]
When turned on, you can select multiple shapes or deselect shapes by holding down the Shift key and clicking the shapes.
When turned off, you can select multiple shapes by clicking the shapes without pressing a key. You can deselect a shape by holding down the Shift key and clicking on the shape.

[Alt+click shape to select overlapped shapes]
Turn it on to enable selecting overlapped shapes in order by clicking them while pressing Alt key.

Move Selected Shape

[Move Select Shape by Arrow Key]
Turn it on to enable moving the selected shape to the direction of an arrow key on the keyboard when it is pressed.

[Move Method]
Set the moving method for the selected shape with arrow keys.

[In Pixels]: Moves a shape by distance set in [Move Direction] in pixels on the screen.
[Coordinate Unit of Part Drawing]: Moves a shape by distance set in [Move Direction] in coordinate units on the current part drawing.
[Grid Interval]: Moves a shape in a grid interval unit when the grid is valid on the current part drawing.

[Move Direction]
Set the movement distance for a shape when pressing an arrow key with [Move Method] set at [In Pixels] or [Coordinate Unit of Part Drawing].

Supplemental
Moving a shape with arrow keys is only possible when no command is executed and only one shape is selected.
