Replacing Text in Shape

You can search a shape containing a certain text from shapes on the drawing, and replace the string.

Replacing Text in Shape

  1. Point [Search and Replace] on [Edit] menu, and click [Replace Text].
    Search and Replace Window will be displayed.
  2. Input a search string in [Search string] box.
  3. Input a replace string in [Replace string] box.

To replace one by one

  1. Click [Search prev] or [Search next].
    A shape containing the input string will be selected, and the message will be displayed on the status bar.
  2. Click [Replace].
    The string in the previously searched shape will be replaced with the input string in [Replace string] box.
    If more searched results exist, the next searched shape will be selected, and the message on searched result will be displayed on the status bar.

To replace all at once

  1. Click [Replace all].
    All strings of searched shapes will be replaced with the input string in [Replace string] box.
Supplemental
▪ Click [Replace] to replace the string in the previously searched shape. When clicking [Replace] without searching, the same operation as [Search next] will be executed.
▪ Hidden shapes will not be replaced.
▪ Strings on shapes on layers and part drawings of "Show Only" will not be replaced.
▪ Attribute values of drawing components will be replaced per drawing component located.
