Measuring Angle
The following 4 methods can be used to measure an angle.
- Measuring the angle between a line connecting the "start point" and "end point" specified and X axis.
- Measuring the angle between a line connecting the "center point" and "start point," and that connecting "center point" and "end point."
- Measuring the angle between a selected "shape" and X axis.
- Measuring the angle at an intersection of 2 "shapes" selected.
To display a command parameter to be executed, click / of command parameters, or press Tab key or ← / → key on the keyboard.
- Click [Measure Angle] on [Tools] menu.
- Specify a target whose angle is to be measured.
Specifying a target displays the measured angle in [Measurement Results] dialog box.
When specifying the start point and end point
Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Start Point] box, and click the start point and end point on the drawing.
The angle between a line connecting the start and end points, and X axis will be measured.
When specifying the center point, start point and end point
Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Center Point] box, and click the center point, start point and end point on the drawing.
The angle between a line connecting the center point and start point, and that connecting the center point and end point will be measured.
When specifying a shape
Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Shape] box, and click a shape.
The angle between the clicked shape and X axis will be measured.
Shapes whose angle can be measured are lines, polylines, infinite lines, rays, arcs and texts.
When specifying 2 shapes
Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Shape 1] box, and click 2 shapes.
The angle at the intersection of selected shapes will be measured.
Shapes whose angle can be measured are lines, polylines, infinite lines, and rays.
- Click [Close].
[Measurement Results] will be closed.
Copy
Click it to copy the measurement results to the Windows Clipboard.
Accuracy
Click to specify the number of decimal places displayed.
