Copying Shape in Polar Array
You can copy a shape in a polar array.
The following 3 methods can be used to copy a shape in a polar array.
- Specifying the "center point" of the polar array, "rotation angle" for copying, and "number" of shapes copied.
- Specifying the "center point" of the polar array, and "space angle" and "number" of shapes copied.
- Specifying the "center point" of the polar array, "rotation angle" for copying, and "space angle" of shapes copied.
To display a command parameter to be executed, click / of command parameters, or press Tab key or ← / → key on the keyboard.
- Point [Copy] on [Edit] menu, and click [Copy in Polar Array].
Then you will be able to copy a shape in a polar array.

- Select a shape to copy in a polar array.
- Click the center point of a circle on the drawing.

You can specify the center point by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Center Point] box on Command Window. |
- Specify whether shapes to be copied will be rotated or not in [Rotate Also Shape] box on Command Window.
On
A shape to be copied will be rotated.
Off
A shape to be copied will not be rotated. Click the base point of a shape to be copied in a polar array on the drawing.
- Use [Copy Method] box on Command Window to specify the method of copying in a polar array.
Rotation Angle and Number
Copies the specified number of shapes evenly within the specified rotation angle area.
Space Angle and Number
Copies the specified number of shapes with the specified interval angle.
Rotation Angle and Space Angle
Copies shapes with the specified space angle in the specified rotation angle area.
When specifying rotation angle and number
- Input a rotation angle for copying in [Rotation Angle] box on Command Window.
- Input the number of shapes to be copied in [Shapes] box on Command Window.
The selected shape will be copied with the specified number of shapes and the specified space angle.

When specifying the space angle and number
- Input an angle between copied shapes in [Space Angle] box on Command Window.
- Input the number of shapes to be copied in [Shapes] box on Command Window.
The selected shape will be copied with the specified number of times and the specified space angle.

When specifying rotation angle and space angle
- Input a rotation angle for copying in [Rotation Angle] box on Command Window.
- Input the angle between shapes in [Space Angle] box on Command Window.
The selected shape will be copied with the specified space angle in the specified rotation angle area.
