[Input] Page on [Options] Dialog Box


On [Input] page on [Options] dialog box, you can modify the following settings.

Command

[Default value of coordinate parameter input]
Select [Absolute Coordinates] to convert the coordinates input with coordinate parameters on Command Window to absolute coordinates from the origin (0,0). Inputting coordinate values in [@X coordinate , (comma) Y coordinate] format makes coordinates relative ones.
Selecting [Relative Coordinates] to convert the coordinates input with coordinate parameters on Command Window to relative coordinates from the last input ones. Inputting coordinate values in [@X coordinate , (comma) Y coordinate] format makes coordinates absolute ones.

[Key operation when switching the command parameters]
When selecting [Arrow key], you can switch parameters by pressing left arrow or right arrow key, and move to the previous/next parameter by pressing up arrow key or down arrow key on the keyboard.
When selecting [Enter/Tab key], you can switch parameters by pressing Tab key, and move to the next/previous parameter by pressing Enter key or Shift and Enter keys on the keyboard, respectively.

[Save Command Parameter to Registry]
Turn it on to save the status of last command parameter selection in a registry, and restore it when RootPro CAD starts up next time. Certain command enables various patterns of combination of parameters, and you can save the parameter pattern last selected using this setting.

[Save IME Status]
Turn it on to save the on/off status of the IME mode specified in [Multiline Text] dialog box.

[Delete Parameter History]
Click it to delete histories of length, distance, angle, text, and scale parameters previously input.

Variables

[Set variables of input value]
Click it to display [Variable Settings] dialog box where you can add or delete variables.

Text

[Enter text directly from screen]
Set the method of entering characters with text and character editing commands.
Turn it on to display the edit window on the screen to edit text.
Turn it off to display the [Text] dialog box to edit text.

Mouse Gesture

[Enable Mouse Gesture]
Turn it on to enable mouse gesture. Hold down the right mouse button and drag to execute a mouse gesture.

[Gesture Type]
If you select [Mouse Gesture], the command assigned to the combination of the moving direction of the mouse (up/down/left/right) will be executed when the right mouse button is pressed and dragged.
Select [Ring Menu] to display the ring-shaped menu when dragging while holding down the right mouse button. Execute a command by releasing the right mouse button over the command button in the ring menu.

[Display Gesture Trace]
Turn it on to display the trace when the mouse is moved in the case of mouse gesture.

[Color]
Sets the color of the mouse gesture trace.

[Customize]
Click to display [Mouse Gesture] page of [Customize] dialog box, where you can set mouse gestures and ring menu commands.
