Modifying Default Settings of Color, Line Type, and Line Width for Shapes to be Created


Modify default settings for colors, line types, and line widths of general shapes (lines, infinite lines, rays, circles, arcs, ellipses, elliptical arcs, B-Splines) to be created.

  1. Click [Default General Shape Settings] on [Settings] menu.
    [General Shape] page on [Default Shape Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Modify default settings for general shapes.
    Colors, line types, and line widths defined in color tables, line type tables, and line width tables can be set, as well as colors, line types, and line widths set in layers (layer colors, layer line types, and layer line widths, respectively).
    The modified settings will be displayed on the preview screen located at the bottom left of the dialog box.
  3. Supplemental
    Click on [General Shape Style] box, and select a registered style to reflect the settings for the style.
    Click [Load default general shape settings from template] menu on [Import/Export] to load default settings for the general shape on the template to current settings.
    Click [Load default general shape settings from other drawings] menu on [Import/Export] to load default settings for a general shape on other drawing currently opened to current settings.
  4. Click [OK].
    The default settings for general shapes will be modified.
  5. Supplemental
    The modified settings will become valid for general shapes to be created. To modify the settings for general shapes already created, point [Modify Shape Settings] on [Edit] menu, and click [Modify Shape Settings] or [Modify General Shape Settings] to select a general shape, or click in [Color], [Line Type] and [Line Width] boxes on Properties Window.
    You can set colors, line types, or line widths for general shapes to be created in [Color], [Line Type] and [Line Width] boxes on [Color/Line Type/Line Width] toolbar.
