Modifying Drawing Origin
You can modify the drawing origin which is a base for coordinates when creating shapes to a desired position.
However, the modified drawing origin will be an origin for convenience when creating shapes, and the coordinates in shape properties will be modified to ones based on "X Coordinate: 0 and Y Coordinate: 0."
- Click [Drawing Origin] on [Tools] menu.
Then you will be able to specify the drawing origin.
- Click a position to be used as the drawing origin on the drawing.
The origin mark will be displayed at the clicked position, and the origin mark color will be modified to pink.
This position will be used as the origin for subsequent coordinate values.
|·||You can specify the drawing origin by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Coordinate of Drawing Origin] box on Command Window.|
|·||When modifying the drawing origin, absolute coordinate values on the status bar will be displayed in red.|
Resetting drawing origin
Reset the modified drawing origin to "X Coordinate: 0 and Y Coordinate: 0."
- Click [Reset Drawing Origin] on [Tools] menu.
The drawing origin will be reset to "X Coordinate: 0 and Y Coordinate: 0," and the origin mark will be displayed in red again.
