[PDF File Settings - Export] Dialog Box


On [PDF File Settings - Export] dialog box, you can modify the following settings.

[Paper or Part Drawing to Convert]
Select [Active Paper or Part Drawing] to convert and export the currently displayed sheet of paper or part drawing.
Select [All Sheets of Paper] to export all sheets of paper by separating into pages in the order of data.
Select [All papers and part drawings] to export all sheets of paper by separating them into pages in the order of data.

[Convert Layer]
Turn it on to convert and export layers as well.

[Convert to Raster Data]
Turn it on to convert drawings into raster data and export them.

[Embed TrueType Font]
Turn it on to embed TrueType fonts being used.

Tip:
Embedding is prohibited for some fonts, and some fonts cannot be embedded because the required font information cannot be obtained. In such cases, other embeddable fonts are either embedded or not embedded.

[Convert to monochrome]
Turn it on to convert shape colors to monochrome and export them.

[Apply print range (specified range) for print settings]
Turn it on to convert and export shapes within the specified area when [Print Area] is set to [Specified Area] on [Print Settings].

Tip:
If a range is specified, shapes outside the range will not be converted.

[Convert Line Width]
Turn it off to set the line width for a shape to the narrowest line for a device creating a PDF file instead of using the line width value set to the shape.

[Convert Point]
Turn it on to export point shapes on the drawing.

[Dot Size]
Set the size of No. 3 type points (dots) in millimeters.

[Attach RootPro CAD Drawing File]
Turn it on to attach an original RootPro CAD drawing file.

Default Paper Setting

Set a default setting for a case where data without paper information on the drawing is to be converted.

Tip:
 On [Default Paper Setting], paper type, orientation, size, scale, locate base, and margin can be set. These values will be used when converting a part drawing without paper information on the drawing, or a sheet of paper/part drawing with the print area (specified area.).
 When converting part drawings, dimensions will be in millimeters.

Paper

[Paper Type]
Set the paper type. When selecting [Specify Size], input vertical and horizontal paper sizes in [Paper Size] box.

[Paper Orientation]
Set the paper orientation.

[Paper Size]
Displays the current paper size. When selecting [Specify Size], you can input vertical and horizontal paper sizes in [Paper Size] box.

Scale

Select [Fit To Paper Size] to convert shapes with a scale fit to the paper size and export them.
Select [Specify Scale] to convert and export shapes in a specified scale.

[Locate Base]
Select [Left Bottom] to fit the bottom left of the shape area to the paper origin.
Select [Center] to fit the center of the shape area to the paper center.

[Margin]
Provides margins at input values of the left and right sides, as well as top and bottom sides.

[Set Security Options]
Turn it on to display [PDF Security] dialog box to set the security when executing export.

[Default settings]
Reset to default value.

[View before execution]
Turn it on to display this dialog box when executing export.

Tip:
The initial value for the version of PDF file to be saved is 1.4, but it will be 1.5 when turning on [Convert Layer], 1.6 when the horizontal or vertical paper size exceeds 5,080 mm, and 1.7 when turning on [Attach RootPro CAD Drawing File].
