Defining Unique Hatch Pattern by Combining Lines


You can define a unique hatch pattern by combining multiple lines. Also, the color, line type, line width, through point, interval, and gradient can be set for individual lines.

  1. Click [User Defined Hatch Settings] on [Settings] menu.
    [User Defined Hatch Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Click [Add], and click [Line Hatch Pattern].
    [User Defined Line Hatch Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  3. Supplemental
    To modify an already-defined hatch pattern, select a hatch pattern to be modified, and click [Modify].
    Clicking [Hatch Settings] displays [Hatch] page on [Shape] dialog box, enabling to modify any of the hatch settings.
  4. Set the color, line type, line width, through point, gradient, and interval for Line 1.
    The modified contents will be displayed on the preview screen located on the right of the dialog box.
  5. Supplemental
    To add a line, click [Add Line] and set the color, line type, line width, through point, gradient, and interval for the new line.
    To delete a line, click of the [Line] box to select a line to be deleted, and click [Delete].
  6. Input the name of a hatch pattern in [Name] box.
  7. Click [OK].
    A new hatch pattern will be defined.
